Hello! I am a student of High Tech High's Graduate School of Education. Currently, I am part of the San Diego Teacher Residency, working towards my life science single-subject credential. I am a California girl, born in the Central Valley and living my adult years in sunny San Diego. My lifelong love for the ocean led me to pursue my B.S. in Biology (emphasis marine biology) at San Diego State University.  I have worked in laboratories, on boats, and even in the wild of retail. Through all of this, I have discovered my passion for teaching. I want to inspire students and support them as they study phenomena in our natural world. I am excited for this current journey and the prospect of being a support to my students. I am also a mother of two young boys, and enjoy cooking, traveling, and relaxing at the beach.
